Horsepool Cottage, a luxury, two bedroom, dog friendly cottage in North Devon sleeping four. The beautifully decorated, recently refurbished Horsepool Cottage is a stunning, couple and family friendly holiday home located close to North Devon’s beaches and Exmoor National Park.
Inside, the cottage combines modern day style with period charm and character - think stylish decor and plush furnishings complimenting exposed stone walls and wood beams. Whilst outside has been designed with relaxation in mind. The enclosed garden is completely private and has a covered wellness area with a hot tub and sauna, as well as a patio for alfresco dining, an outside cloakroom and a handy utility room with storage.
From the entrance porch, guests enter into a warm and cosy living room. This charming lounge with underfloor heating features an exposed stone wall, beams and a wood burning stove.
For relaxing there is a large sofa and an armchair, as well as a wall-mounted TV.
A door leads from the living room to the stairs and first floor.
Next door to the living room is the well equipped kitchen/diner. This tastefully finished kitchen has an abundance of features and facilities, including a boiling tap, a coffee machine, a dishwasher, an electric oven with hob and a fridge with freezer box.
A round dining table, comfortably seating up to four is perfect for all occasions.
The second bedroom located on the first floor of the cottage is a pretty twin with two full size single beds. Like the double bedroom, this room has plenty of character with its wood beams. The bedroom overlooks the garden and countryside beyond, it features a free standing wardrobe and a wall mounted TV.

Both bedrooms are serviced by the main, first floor family bathroom, which is fitted with a walk-in shower, a wash basin and a WC.
The highlight of Horsepool Cottage is its very own, covered wellness area located toward the end of the garden. This delightful, slightly sunken area is fully protected from the weather and features a hot tub and a sauna. The area is accessible at all times, including in the evening with the help of motion activated lighting on the steps leading down to it.
Horsepool Cottage’s garden offers plenty of privacy, with walls, fencing and hedges on all sides. The enclosed garden has an area of level lawn, as well as a patio with table and chairs for outdoor dining perfect for a summer BBQ or just relaxing in the evening.
The useful, additional utility room is situated in one of the original out-buildings. The room has its own sink, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a fridge/freezer and storage for bikes and surfboards.
Next door to the utility room is a handy outdoor cloakroom, which saves guests using the wellness area from having to head back inside to use the restroom. The cloakroom, which has been finished in a similar style to the inside, has a wash basin and a WC.
*Please note strictly only one dog can be permitted at Horsepool Cottage. This dog must be kept downstairs and off any furniture.
